My name is Kate and I am a mom, wife and aspiring writer who never went further than my high school Creative Writing class (that I took twice..) until now! I am so glad you found me!
Born in Florida and after living up and down the east coast, I now live in a small rural town in Southern, Ohio. As a homeschool mom and INFJ personality type whose husband is her best friend, I don’t get a lot of outside adult interaction so I have a bad habit of life-dumping whenever the opportunity comes that I get to have a conversation. I needed a way to express all of my life’s happenings collectively to those who willingly want to hear about it.. (warning: there is a lot going on around here!)
I used to ask myself if I did something in a past life that resulted in such a vicious karmic cycle in this life, or is everyone’s life one big cluster-f of chaos, too? Since it’s not normal to ask a stranger at the grocery store what traumas or current shitshows they are navigating right now, I started this blog to share mine in hopes of connecting with other not so Pinterest-perfect moms out there. Where I share the real, the raw, the ugly, the controversial, and just get to be myself unapologetically.
The ultimate dream? Is that someone would see one of my posts and feel heard, feel understood, feel like they aren’t alone in whatever unspoken storm they are facing. That my message would be exactly what they needed to hear in that very moment. To guide a life with my words, and in the best case scenario.. make a new friend in the process!
